   In January 1986 I began intensively to research my family history. Most of my work was done on the phone and by individual letters.
    By mid-1987 I had a small mailing list and wanted to let everyone know what I had uncovered in my "diggings."
    This, then, was the beginning of the family newsletter which I typed on my new 286 computer and mailed to my growing list of family members. I wasn't on the Internet then. This newsletter was devoted to the research of my paternal family. I entitled it Family Chronicles.
    Today, I am into my third laptop, with the latest version of Windows XP for home and loving every minutes of my research and contact with family members. I am in the process of adding all the previous years of printed issues to this website and have most of them completed. Click on a year below to view the newsletter for that year.
